About Us

La Casita Jesus Home Day Care has been a caring and trusted part of the Berwyn community since 2000. Founded by Alexandra Fontanez, our home day care was built from a deeply personal place and a genuine need. As a mother herself, Alexandra wanted a safe, loving environment where her own children would be cared for with the same attention, patience, and compassion she gave them at home. When she couldn’t find a place that met that standard, she decided to create it.

What began as a solution for her own family quickly grew into something much bigger—a welcoming home where families could feel confident leaving their children each day. From the very beginning, La Casita Jesus Home Day Care was created with love at its center. Every child who walks through our doors is treated like family, because we believe children thrive best when they feel safe, respected, and truly cared for.

Over the years, we have proudly provided quality in-home child care for children ages 12 and under, offering a nurturing environment that supports each child’s emotional, social, and developmental growth. Our goal is not just to watch children, but to help guide them as they grow into kind, respectful, and confident individuals. We take that responsibility seriously and work closely with families to support each child’s unique needs.

Infant & Child Care: La Casita Jesus Home Day Care provides nurturing, in-home care for infants and children ages 12 and under. Early Learning & Kindergarten Preparation: Our program incorporates the Mother Goose Curriculum, offering age-appropriate early learning activities that introduce letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and basic social skills. Through play-based learning, storytelling, music, and hands-on activities, we help children build a strong foundation while preparing preschool-aged children for a confident, successful transition into kindergarten.
